I am flying off to Damai Laut, Perak tomorrow!!! The last time I went there was when i was 12 I think. And now I'm going there again!!


My dad calls the hotel ' Monkey Hotel ' cause while driving to the hotel, you can see monkeys around! And that's what my family has been calling the hotel since!!


Anyways, I'll be back on Monday aka Merdeka Day. So don't expect another post until Monday. Or maybe tuesday. Or maybe even before than depending whether my mum allow me to use the internet connection at the hotel.. (:

This baby is mine!!! I just bought this book yesterday at MPH. When I saw it I practically grabbed it! hahahahhaha. And now this baby is officially mine!


I was never actually really addicted to this series. But after the HIGH recommendation from both Rachel and Ni Kol *both book lovers* I took some home and started to read it. Let me tell you this honestly, the first paragraph of Marked *the first book of the series* already got me hooked to it. :D


So the holidays have officially started. YES!! Is all I can say. Seriously, although I'll miss friends and stuff, I really need to take a break from all the school stuff and stress. I have to really start learning how to appreciate holidays. Break time! Means getting some rest. FINALLY!

I am here saying this honestly. MTV World Stage was AWESOME!!

It was one GREAT concert!

One ROCKING Event!

And I wouldn't have even been there if it weren't for Rachel and Amanda.. so thanks ya ^^

And this post is dedicated especially to Rachel with whom I promised to tell EVERY single detail of the event without missing ANYTHING out. So here is the FULL thing.

*Warning: This will be a LONG post*
*And when I say 'we' or 'us' refers to Jasmine, Allan, Nicky, Nich Lee and me*


We reached Sunway at about 3pm. Walked 1 BIG round before finally having coffee at Starbucks thanks to Nicky. Made our way to the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach at around 3.30pm.




The amount of people there was just CRAZY! There were 15,000 people there!!

So after 2 hours of standing and waiting, the whole thing FINALLY started!

When he deejay's came out, the screams followed. A few screaming games were played to pump everybody's spirits up before the introduced the first act. The first to come out was Estranged! they seriously rocked it out. Everybody there was screaming and singing on top of their voices. Jasmine, Allan, Nicky, Nich Lee and me just looked bluer cause we didnt know the song. But the last song they sang (forgot the title) was the BEST. Partly cause we knew the song and partly cause it was the BEST!

After Estranged performed, Boys like Girls came out! Imagine the 15,000 screams that followed when they came out! It was crazy!! they performed Love Drunk, Hero Heroine, Thunder and The Great Escape. When they finished singing Hero Heroine, it started drizzling again, then the lead singer said ' I can feel rain, like a storm coming, maybe even a little Thunder' And the screams came again. And when they performed their last song, the Great escape, EVERYONE there was jumping and screaming! You can see hands in the air doing the ROCK sign! And EVERYONE was singing along together with them. Even Jas, Allan, me, Nicky and Nich Lee just went along and did the same thing. ALL of us were jumping and screaming and singing. By the time Boys like Girls finish performing, our legs seriously HURT alot cause of the jumping. And yes Rachel I did scream for you.

Then came the 'short' break which was actually about 30 minutes long. During that time, a lot of people moved to the back to buy some refreshments. So we tired squeezing to the front which proved to be a mistake. Not only was it HOT, it was soooo squashed up! You can hardly breathe there. So we tired moving to the back again. At that time when we were moving, there came this American guy who was also trying to move to the back but could not cause nobody gave him space, so he shouted ' Chelsea sucks! Manchester United rocks!! If that helps' And the 'wooooo' came. And Nicholas stupidly shouted 'Chelsea!!!' which made that guys say 'who said that?? beat that guy up!!' Luckily for Nich, nobody knew it was him. When we finally made it to the middle, it was like we could breathe again!

The lighting affect was really AWESOME!!



Next to perform was Ray Gun I think. Although didnt know most of their songs, we still screamed and shouted for them.(:


Then Pixie Lott came. And I have to honestly say that I don't know any of her songs. But there was this song that she performed where the only words that we knew were 'uh uh oh' or something like that la.. During the whole time she performed, the guys keep on repeating how hot she was and stuff.

When Hoobastank came out, the screams were lifted again cause during the time Raygun and Pixie Lott performed, the screams were like dying. So when Hoobastank came out, the scream were like alive again. It was like the whole atmosphere was lifted up again. After performing 3 songs, they unexpectedly performed the theme song for 'Ghost Busters' It was soo unexpected! everybody sang along to it. It was crazy! Even the lead singer of the band laughed and said 'this is crazy!!'

And finally, after overcoming the rain, heat, the smoking smell, the soreness of our legs, All American Rejects finally came out!! The screams were even louder than when Boys Like girls came out! They performed 6-7 songs, so obviously they were the main performers. They perform songs like 'Swing swing swing', 'I Wanna', 'Dirty little Secrets', 'Gives You Hell', 'It Ends Tonight', and if I'm not mistaken, 'the wind blows' There were 1 or 2 more songs that they perform but can't remember the title.

But the song that really got the crowd going was 'Gives You Hell' The atmosphere was like when Boys Like Girls sang 'the Great escape'. Everyone was screaming and singing along while jumping and putting their hands to the air. It was seriously crazy!

After they performed, most people headed home. Including us. But honestly, our legs hurt like there's no tomorrow. We could hardly walk! Most likely it hurt cause we were standing since 4pm till 11pm! And the jumping also.(:



This was seriously one ROCKING event.

Thanks again to Rachel for getting the tickets for me. And like I said during choir practice, I owe you BIG time!!

Looking back, I'm glad that I've already experience primary school. Although I sometimes miss it, I'm glad that I'm now in high school experiencing new things.


With my hand still a but bruised after playing paper fight with Nicholas yesterday, I came to school with tiredness in my eyes. Went for choir and suddenly my spirits were lifted up again!! I was like filled with enthusiasm. I guess not going for choir in 1-2 months made me really miss it.It's like when I stepped into the choir room, all those familiar faces are like really really nice to see.

And because I was soo distracted by being in choir, I didnt notice the time. Which resulted to us being late for assembly. And I didnt even realize that I forgot to do 1 very important thing.. Which is to thumb-in. And I only realized that when I was half way climbing the stairs..hehehe^^

Tuition was as usual FUN!! We were all trying to guess Mr Chew's English name since he refused to tell us. So we were like shouting names at him!! Among the names that we guessed were,

So today is the day where we get back our results.. And like I said, my sejarah was ............ REALLY REALLY BAD!!!! Maths just luckily got A. Bm a bit more get A. Art as usual la D. First day I come to school got a multi racial of grades already.. A, B, C, and D. Niceee right??

So although the results were quite BAD, something in tuition made me really reallly HAPPY!!

I guess when Rachel wrote on her hand 'There will be a better tomorrow'.. She was actually making sense. :D

So... Exams are over. YAY!! But the results are another problem.. Especially Sejarah!! I was practically scratching my head the whole time!! And the blanks that were left on my paper, it was like I never even touched the paper!! Ok.. Maybe I'm over exaggerating here.. But do you even know how hard was it???

The funny thing about test was during Sivik test.. It was actually really really hard cause they were asking about the festivals and stuff.. So Jo Yi who was sitting in front of me started to hold her paper up for me to copy. And since I was sitting behind of her, I can like see all her answers!! And the teacher didnt even know cause her back was turned against us!! So she cant see anything of what we were doing!!

So after copying from Jo Yi, Marie who was sitting beside me started to ask for answers. So I showed her the whole paper and she copied. And Nicholas who was sitting beside Jo Yi and managed to copy her answers also let Jasmine copy. And it went one and one. So almost all chinese people of our class was copying answers during the whole Sivik test!! The best part about this is that the teacher didnt even know!!

We had a Talent Hunt party on Friday before school. And it was AWESOME!! Well, it was awesome because I got free food!!! And it was not those normal free food, it was DOMINOS!!!

Before we were allowed to eat, we had to divide ourselves into a group of 4. So Elizabeth, Eugene, Ann Na and I made a group la.. Then the pizza came and it was HOORAY!!! Thank you Pn Zetty for the lovely pizza!!

Nothing else happened except of me laughing my ass off when I saw the video that Rachel took during the Talent Hunt when Nicholas was there... LOL..

Anyway..

I know that the Choir competition has been over for like 4 months I think??? But I recently foud some pics that I took during the finals and didnt upload them..
